Star Afghan

The manager here at the apartments I live in is going to a different apartment complex so I made an afghan for her. This was the first time I had ever made this pattern. I’m pretty pleased with the results.

Quilt along

Angela over at Cut to Pieces is sharing the blocks of a Mario Brothers quilt she designed in a quilt along. I know my son would like this quilt. I love how generous the crafters you find on the internet are.

New Blog from Old

I am so very, very awful about keeping up with my blog! I have moved to wordpress and am going to give this blogging another try. I hope to do better than I have done up till now. I have a ton of photos of crafts I have made, I just never seemed to find the time to post them. (Too lazy!) Plus I was working with the old tower computer and it was a pain. I have a brand new laptop that I am pretty happy with so far.

I’m going to insert a few photos so you can see what I’ve been up to.ImageImageImageImage

Hello, Happy Friday!

Hello! I’m happy to “see” you today. I’m just popping in to post a few projects. My niece is expecting her first baby, tentative due date is November, so I have time to make her a lot of stuff. I just finished a bib and I’ve begun an afghan for the baby. The afghan is called Sunny Spread and is from the winter issue of Crochet Today!. I love this square design!  It is actually supposed to be a larger afghan but I switched the yarn to a baby/sport weight yarn called Pound of Love and I changed to hook size to an E.  Lastly, I wanted to show you the counted cross stitch sampler I’m itching to start.
